Families in some parts of the country have already gone back to school, while others are trying to cram as much fun in their final days of summer as they can. Hollywood is accommodating this weekend with a family film about Pete and his best friend a dragon, a WWII Third Reich assassination film and a scary funny paranormal movie.
Our pick of the litter this weekend features legendary actresses and actors, Meryl Streep and Hugh Grant, in an auto biographical movie about Florence Foster Jenkins, a rich New Yorker who had the time, money and influence to be the seasons new opera star. Everyone is getting rich helping her career; the one quality this 70 year old aspiring singer doesn’t have is the voice, and that’s when the fun begins.
Enjoy the movies this weekend – I always do!
