Morgan Wallen Hits No. 1 with “Man Made a Bar” Days After Arrest

In a striking twist of fate, country music star Morgan Wallen clinched another No. 1 spot on the Billboard Country Airplay chart with “Man Made a Bar,” a song he collaborated on with Eric Church, mere days following his arrest for reckless endangerment. The incident occurred at Church’s newly opened bar in Nashville, where Wallen reportedly threw a chair from the sixth floor.

“Man Made a Bar,” featured on Wallen’s March 2023 album “One Thing at a Time,” ascended to the top of the charts on April 12, just five days after Wallen’s arrest on April 7. This chart-topper marks Wallen’s 12th and Church’s 11th No. 1 hit. The song’s lyrics poignantly talk about seeking solace at a bar post-breakup, an irony not lost given Wallen’s recent bar-related mishap.

Wallen, whose relationship with alcohol has previously stirred controversy, was allegedly drinking heavily on the night of his arrest. Sources close to the singer suggest that while he is generally amiable, his drinking can become problematic. Despite the negative press, Wallen’s musical career continues to thrive, although his personal challenges remain a recurring concern.

Wallen’s legal representative, Worrick Robinson, stated that the singer is fully cooperating with the authorities regarding the incident. As Wallen navigates these legal troubles, his latest hit serves as a reminder of his enduring talent and complex personal life.
