Morgan Freeman Really is Playing Himself These Days

Morgan Freeman, one of Hollywood’s most respected actors, is set to play himself in a new Showtime comedy called “We Love Him So Much.” The series, which was created by comedian and writer Travon Free, will be Freeman’s first-ever starring role in a television show.

The show is described as a “meta comedy” that explores Freeman’s cultural icon status and his often-imitated voice. It will also feature appearances from real-life celebrities who will play exaggerated versions of themselves.

“We Love Him So Much” marks a departure for Freeman, who is best known for his dramatic roles in films like “The Shawshank Redemption” and “Driving Miss Daisy.” The show is expected to offer a new side to the actor, who has been in the entertainment industry for over 50 years.

Fans of Freeman can look forward to seeing the legendary actor in a new light when “We Love Him So Much” debuts on Showtime later this year.
