It was an exciting evening in the NBA.
The new-look Brooklyn Nets defeated the Sacramento Kings, 109-85. The Nets recently made a blockbuster trade, in which they acquired shooting-guard Seth Curry and Ben Simmons.
The Chicago Bulls continue their dominant season after a 120-109 victory over the San Antonio Spurs. Shooting forward DeMar DeRozan appears to be one of the Bulls’ best additions on the season after another 40-point effort on Monday night.
The Portland Trail Blazers shockingly upset the Milwaukee Bucks, 122-107. With the Blazers going into full rebuild mode, star shooting guard Anfernee Simons has taken the No. 1 scoring spot on the team.
Finally, the Oklahoma City Thunder upset the reeling New York Knicks in overtime, 127-123. The Knicks have lost the last six out of seven games, as their season continues to slip away after a confident start.
