Earlier this week, pregnant Ashley Graham took to social media to share some reflective photos and memories from the past few months. Not too long after, she posted a screenshot of a comment that read, “I had twins but I did not get any stretch marks. I hope that does not affect your career.”
Graham didn’t hesitate to respond to the unsolicited criticism with sarcasm and some eye-rolling emojis, writing, “Gosh still hope I have a career with my stretch marks.”
The supermodel is expecting twins with her husband. They also have a nearly-two-year-old son named Isaac.
“I think that every body is beautiful and I think that’s exactly what I’m continuing to preach,” she said in a recent interview, maintaining her body-positive reputation especially since becoming pregnant. “My tiger stripes are coming in and that’s such a great conversation to have with other mommies because it’s just inevitable to get stretch marks when you’re pregnant, especially the second time around with twins.”
