The World Series was presumably over after game four. The Indians had won two in a row to give themselves a 3-1 lead with three games left. The Cubs have done the almost improbable though and have pushed the World Series to a game seven! What an exciting series this has been.
What wasn’t exciting was the later half of last night’s game. The Cubs came out early with three in the first and four in the third to take a 7-0 lead that would never really be in danger. At the end of the night the scoreboard would read 9-3 Cubs.
The player of the night was none other than Addison Russell and his six RBI. He hit a big grand slam to put the game away. Jake Arrieta would earn his second win of the World Series after striking out nine in 5.2 innings. He only gave up three hits. Jason Kipnis led the way for the Indians with three hits, one of them being a home run.
Game seven will be tonight, so make sure to tune in!
