Over the weekend, the MLB playoffs fanned the flames of growing excitement, anticipation, and anxiety for baseball fans across the country.
The National League Divisional Series is all tied up. Today will kick off with the Milwaukee Brewers in Atlanta, facing off against the Braves for an edge ahead. Tonight, the San Francisco Giants are headed to Dodger Stadium to see which of the two California teams will take the lead. The National League Championship Series begins on October 16th as all four teams vie for a spot.
In the American League, both the Boston Red Sox and the Houston Astros lead their series 2-1. Number one seed Tampa Bay looks to come back during the elimination game as Boston only needs one win to move on. Similarly, the Chicago White Sox hope to overpower a stacked Astros lineup as they fight for a spot in the American League Championship Series. The ALCS begins on October 15th.
