According to tasteofcountry.com, Miranda Lambert recently added, Velvet Rodeo Eau de Parfum, a perfume to her accessory business Idyllwind, a lifestyle brand. In a video that announced the fragrance, Lambert sprays the Velvet Rodeo Eau de Parfum while her song “Actin’ Up” off of her 2022 album, Palomino plays. She says that fragrance was inspired by the song and is for “strong-spirited, take no prisoners, queen of hearts.” The perfume’s name comes from her Velvet Rodeo Las Vegas Residency and is available in Boot Barn stores and on her Idyllwind website.
The country star started her Velvet Rodeo residency on September 23rd, wrapping up the October dates on October 8th. She will start the residency again on November 26th and it will end for the year on December 11th. The final portion of the residency will run through March and April of 2023. Fans will also see her at the 2022 CMA Awards on November 9th as she is nominated for four awards: Entertainer of the Year, Female Vocalist of the Year and Album of the Year for Palomino (nominated as artist and producer). She will also perform her song, “Geraldine,” which was featured on the Grammy nominated The Marfa Tapes, but was re-recorded for Palomino.
Lambert will be up against Luke Combs, Chris Stapleton, Carrie Underwood and Morgan Wallen in the top category of Entertainer of the Year.
