Country music star Miranda Lambert has hit the ground running in 2024, diving into songwriting with her latest creative endeavor. The “White Liar” hitmaker took to social media to share her excitement about penning her first batch of songs for the year, collaborating with close friend Ashley Monroe and emerging country artist Stephen Wilson Jr.
In an Instagram post featuring a selfie with her fellow songwriters, Lambert expressed her enthusiasm and inspiration drawn from working with Monroe and Wilson Jr. “I’ve been inspired by Ash and her melodies and heart for 20 years now. And Stephen’s record has lit a fire under my ass since I laid ears on it,” Lambert wrote, signaling a fresh and fiery start to her musical creations in 2024.
The successful session resulted in three new songs in a day, a testament to the creative synergy among the trio. Lambert’s approach to her songwriting process, “getting deep in the paint,” suggests a deep dive into emotional and artistic depths, promising compelling new music for her fans.
This new project follows the release of her 2022 album ‘Palomino’, which featured popular singles like “If I Was a Cowboy” and “Strange.” Lambert’s latest collaboration indicates a continued evolution in her musical journey, blending her seasoned experience with new influences and perspectives in the country music scene.
