Millie Bobby Brown has entered another new chapter in a life that has already unfolded largely in the public eye: she is now a mother of two.
The 22-year-old actress and her husband, Jake Bongiovi, have welcomed their second child through adoption, expanding the young couple’s family just over a year after becoming parents for the first time.
Brown confirmed the newest arrival with a sweet and carefully private family photo. Rather than putting the baby in front of the camera, the image focused on the family’s hands, including those of Brown, Bongiovi, their daughter and their newest addition.
Her brief introduction of the baby as a “little guy” also revealed that the couple’s second child is a boy.
The announcement fits the approach Brown has taken since becoming a mother. While she has occasionally opened a window into her home life, she and Bongiovi have kept their children’s identities largely outside the celebrity spotlight.
The couple adopted their first child, a daughter, in 2025. Brown has not publicly revealed her daughter’s name or face, choosing instead to give her a childhood removed from the level of attention Brown herself experienced while growing up.
Motherhood has also been more than an unexpected turn for the Stranger Things star. Brown has previously discussed her desire to have a large family and has spoken openly about adoption being part of the future she imagined for herself from a young age.
There may even have been a clue that the family had already grown.
During a recent family vacation in Italy’s Dolomites, Brown shared footage showing herself carrying the couple’s daughter while Bongiovi walked alongside her wearing what appeared to be a baby carrier. At the time, the images sparked questions about whether another child had quietly joined the family.
Now, the answer is clear.
Brown’s growing family marks another milestone in what has been an unusually public journey from child star to adult. Audiences first watched her become an international name as Eleven on Stranger Things, but in recent years Brown has increasingly built an identity beyond the Netflix phenomenon, including film projects, business ventures, marriage and now motherhood.
Brown and Bongiovi married in 2024 after beginning their relationship several years earlier. Their family has expanded quickly since then, but they have consistently drawn a firm line around how much of their children’s lives will become public entertainment.
For Brown, that means sharing the happiness while keeping much of the story where she appears to want it: at home.
At 22, she has already spent years being watched by millions. Her two children, at least for now, are being given the chance to grow up differently.
