Michael J. Fox may have starred in some of the most iconic films and shows of the ’80s, but to him, no achievement compares to the enduring love he shares with his wife, Tracy Pollan.
On July 16, the Back to the Future actor took to Instagram to mark their 37th wedding anniversary with a sweet photo and simple caption: “37… but who’s counting? Love you, T.❤️” The couple, now both in their mid-60s, first met as on-screen love interests in Family Ties, but it didn’t take long for their fictional romance to blossom into real-life devotion.
Married since 1988 and parents to four children, Fox and Pollan have weathered life’s greatest challenges together — including Fox’s Parkinson’s diagnosis at just 29. Through it all, their bond has remained unbreakable.
“She had every reason to walk away, but she didn’t,” Fox previously told CBS. “She’s lived the words ‘in sickness and in health.’”
Fans flooded the anniversary post with admiration, calling the couple’s love “movie-worthy” and “inspiring.” When asked for the secret to their success, Fox keeps it simple: “We laugh together every single day.”
In a world of fleeting fame, their lasting love is a legacy all its own.
