Miami Grand Prix Delivers a Weekend to Remember

The 2025 Miami Grand Prix proved to be a sun-soaked spectacle of speed, strategy, and surprises—on and off the track. While McLaren dominated headlines with a stunning 1-2 finish led by Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris, the weekend also featured slippery conditions, celebrity sightings, and even life-size LEGO F1 cars.

McLaren’s brilliance shone brightest on Sunday, with Piastri crossing the line an astonishing 37 seconds ahead of third-placed George Russell. Norris, who had snatched Saturday’s chaotic Sprint win thanks to a perfectly timed pit stop under Safety Car, played the long game to back up his teammate.

Mercedes’ teenage prodigy Kimi Antonelli turned heads with a surprise pole in Sprint Qualifying, while Max Verstappen—racing just days after welcoming his daughter Lily—battled highs and lows, ultimately finishing fourth in Sunday’s race.

Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc found themselves in a tense on-track tango, adding drama to an already eventful GP. Meanwhile, fans were treated to the sight of every F1 driver cruising the track in full-sized LEGO cars, a first-of-its-kind parade that stole hearts, especially with the presence of Charles Leclerc’s pup, Leo.

The party didn’t stop there—Tiësto kept the Miami heat going with dual performances, adding an unforgettable soundtrack to an already electric race weekend.
