Metallica’s journey continues as the legendary rock band announced on Thursday (Sept. 19) that their M72 world tour will roll into a third year, with 21 new North American dates scheduled from April to June 2025.
The trek kicks off on April 12 in Las Vegas at the Sick New World festival before heading to Toronto for a two-night stand, followed by shows in Nashville, Columbus, Philadelphia, Charlotte, Atlanta, Tampa, Houston, and a double-header at Empower Field in Denver to wrap up the run on June 27 and 29. Notably, the band will also make their debut at Levi’s Stadium in their hometown Bay Area on June 20 and 22.
As part of their signature No Repeat Weekend tradition, each night will feature completely different setlists and opening acts. The openers include Pantera, Suicidal Tendencies (featuring Metallica’s bassist Robert Trujillo’s former band), Limp Bizkit, and Ice Nine Kills.
Tickets for the two-night and single-night shows will go on sale starting Sept. 27 at 10 a.m. local time, with a fan presale beginning Sept. 23.
The M72 tour, which kicked off in Amsterdam in 2023, has already attracted over three million fans worldwide and shows no sign of slowing down.
