Meghan Trainor is widening the scope of her entertainment career with a new team behind her.
The Grammy-winning singer and songwriter has signed with United Talent Agency for global representation, giving UTA a role in developing opportunities across several areas of her career. Those include live touring, filmed entertainment, digital media, theater and brand partnerships.
The agreement arrives as Trainor continues to branch beyond the recording studio.
Earlier in 2026, she made her on-screen acting debut in Ryan Murphy’s FX series “The Beauty,” adding scripted television to a résumé that already includes extensive experience in unscripted entertainment. Trainor has previously appeared as a judge, coach, mentor or adviser on programs including “The Voice,” “The Voice UK,” “The Four” and “Australian Idol.”
Music remains at the center of the operation. Trainor released her seventh studio album, “Toy With Me,” in April, continuing a recording career that has stretched for more than a decade.
Her breakthrough came with “All About That Bass,” the pop phenomenon that helped turn Trainor into an international star. Her major-label debut album, “Title,” followed and established her as one of the era’s recognizable pop hitmakers. She later earned the Grammy Award for Best New Artist in 2016.
Since then, Trainor has steadily expanded her profile beyond hit singles and albums, adding television appearances, writing and other entertainment projects to the mix.
The UTA deal puts that increasingly diverse career under a global representation strategy designed to pursue opportunities across multiple corners of the entertainment business.
Trainor continues to be managed by Nikola Barisic of Bond Artist Management.
For an artist who first became famous with a song that was nearly impossible to escape, the next phase appears to be about making her presence felt in considerably more places than the pop charts.
