Ever since Meghan Markle and Prince Harry became an item, the world became interested in her fashion choices, an interest that now borders on obsession since they tied the knot last year and Markle officially became the “Duchess of Sussex.” The need to know what Meghan’s wearing certainly hasn’t subsided since she announced she’s got a bun in the oven, and no doubt it’s because her royal appearances and duties, all chock full of fashion photo opps, have shown no sign of letting up during her pregnancy.
Recently, the Duchess got all dolled up to attend the premiere of Cirque du Soleil’s “Totem” show at Royal Albert Hall. The premiere was a charity event in support of Sentebale, founded back in 2006 by the Duke of Sussex in conjunction with Prince Seeiso of Lesotho in order to provide support to young people affected by HIV in southern Africa.
For the special occasion, very pregnant Markle turned up in a long-sleeve, sequined Rouland Mouret gown with a full on leg slit. The close-fitting, floor-length garment was accessorized with a beautiful Givenchy satin clutch, a pair of black, strappy Stuart Weitzman heels and one of Princess Diana’s gold heirloom bracelets. The Duchess then complimented the dress’s navy blue hue with a bright, glossy shade of pink on her lips and rounded out the sleek eveningwear look with a slicked-back bun. Ooh, la la.
