Megan Thee Stallion Heats Up Summer with Her Own Popeyes Franchise and New Music Teasers

Megan Thee Stallion is serving up more than just bars this summer—she’s serving chicken, too. The Grammy-winning rapper announced this week that she’s officially opening her very own Popeyes franchise, marking a major milestone in her entrepreneurial journey.

“MY VERY OWN @popeyes IS OPENING THIS SUMMER HOTTIES,” Megan exclaimed on Instagram, sharing a sneak peek of the under-construction site. While the exact location remains under wraps, the “Hottie Sauce” creator promised fans that it’ll be “THEE LITTEST Popeyes ever.”

This move cements her partnership with Popeyes, which began in 2021 with a fiery “Hottie Sauce” and co-branded merch. That collab also teased Megan’s future as a franchise owner—a promise now fulfilled.

In a previous statement, Megan reflected on the opportunity, calling it “a milestone in my journey and evolution as an entrepreneur,” while celebrating Popeyes’ support for Black women in business.

But she’s not stopping at fast food. Megan also teased Act III of her “Megan” music series, hinting at fresh collaborations and naming Doechii as a top pick for a future feature. Between the mic and the menu, it’s a Hot Girl Summer in full swing.
