Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly’s whirlwind relationship has hit another snag, as the couple split in late November, just weeks after announcing they’re expecting their first child together.
The breakup came as a shock to Fox, with a source close to the actress revealing that she was “blind-sided” by the split and has been “distraught” ever since. However, the Subservience star is staying focused on preparing for the arrival of her baby, making it her top priority.
A Tumultuous Love Story
Fox and Kelly, whose real name is Colson Baker, first met on the set of Midnight in the Switchgrass and got engaged in January 2022. Their relationship, though often described as passionate and intense, has been fraught with ups and downs.
“They love each other but don’t have compatible personalities. They’re both hot-heads, dramatic and stubborn,” said a source close to the couple. Despite the challenges, the source added, “When they’re good together, they’re great. They will very likely get back together. They’ve split in the past and then worked things out.”
A Shared Family Dynamic
Both Fox and Kelly came into the relationship with children from previous partnerships. Fox shares three sons—Noah, 12, Bodhi, 10, and Journey, 8—with ex-husband Brian Austin Green, while Kelly is father to Casie, 15, from a previous relationship.
The pregnancy was reportedly a bright spot for the couple, with another insider noting, “They have both been ecstatic about the baby. They really wanted this baby.”

Megan Fox has previously described her connection with Kelly as something deep and spiritual. On the Call Her Daddy podcast in March, she referred to him as her “twin soul” and acknowledged their unbreakable bond, saying, “There will always be a tether to him, no matter what.”
While the nature of their relationship has drawn significant public attention, Fox emphasized that it’s not something she’s willing to explain fully, remarking, “It’s not for public consumption.”
