Matt Wallace is primarily unknown on the PGA Tour, however, on Saturday he went viral after an intense argument with his caddie at the Valspar Championship that took place in Florida. Wallace has previously managed four European Tour wins and a win on the Asian Tour but things went wrong for him on 18.
The English golfer, argued intensely with his caddie Sam Bernard and he appeared to tell him to “Shut the f— up and stop trying to get involved.” The argument started with a shot after Wallace’s approach was 30 yards short of the hole and the two made up after the exchange.
Ultimately, Wallace started the fourth round three shots behind Adam Schenk and finished tied for seventh place and four under par for the entire tournament.
