The film ‘The Book Club’ opens this weekend, starring Mary Steenburgen, Diane Keaton, Candice Bergen and Jane Fonda. The film is about four middle-aged women who are assigned to read ’50 Shades of Grey’ and discover the book moves them in many different ways. Let’s focus on Mary Steenburgen one of the stars of the show.
Mary Steenburgen was born in Arkansas growing up wanting to be a tap dancer, so she moved to New York to study tap and acting in her early days. Her best work on the silver screen is considered found in ‘Stepbrothers’ ‘Back to the Future Part III’ ‘Elf’ and ‘I Am Sam’ while being a steady player in television with ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm,’ ‘Justified,’ ‘The Last Man on Earth,’ and ‘Ink.’ Mary is currently the wife of legendary actor Ted Danson.
