As Halloween simmered down on Sunday, the Queen of Christmas herself, Mariah Carey, wasted no time getting fans excited for the winter holidays as she shared a video on Instagram teasing a new project.
Dawned in a Santa-inspired outfit, Carey smashes through a jack-o-lantern to her very own “All I Want For Christmas Is You” plays in the background. While not many details were revealed–other than a cheeky message at the end saying: “It’s Time!!! To smash that pumpkin and treat it as a pie… cause we still gotta get through Thanksgiving!!!”–Friday’s date was hinted at, getting fans antsy for something merry and bright to be announced at the end of the week.
