According to cmt.com, Maren Morris made some news friends during a recent performance on the “Today” show. On Thursday, July 28th in the morning, the multi-platinum artist performed outside of Rockefeller plaza along hosts Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb, and was introduced to a girl named Lily. Lily is a visually impaired fan with a passion for Country music, and for Morris. During Morris’ performance, she was brought to Lily who sang every word of her songs loudly along with her. Lily also got to take a photo along with the star, and ask her some fan questions, making for a wonderful day for any fan of country music. Morris is currently on a nationwide Humble Quest Tour, where the performer is performing favorites such as “Circles Around This Town,” and “Background Music.”
