Lynyrd Skynyrd Announces 2022 Tour

Lynyrd Skynyrd has just announced that they will be embarking on a 14-date tour, called the Big Wheels Keep on Turnin’ tour, this April.

The tour will kick off in Scottsdale, Arizona, on April 9th and wrap up on September 23rd in Sparks, Nevada. Don Felder, the Marshall Tucker Band, the Outlaws, and the Devon Allman Project will be supporting the rockers on select dates.

When Lynyrd Skynyrd attempted to take the Big Wheels Keep on Turnin’ tour out in 2021, it was unfortunately interrupted due to two separate medical issues involving band members. Damon Johnson was recruited to fill in for Gary Rossington as he needed emergency heart surgery last year, and guitarist Rickey Medlocke tested positive for COVID-19 in August of last year. It is still unclear whether Rossington will be able to return for this year’s tour.
