Luke Bryan and Jason Aldean Named in Lawsuit Following Steakhouse Closure

The business ventures of two of country music’s biggest stars have landed in the spotlight after a legal dispute emerged surrounding a Nashville restaurant they helped launch.

Luke Bryan and Jason Aldean have been named in a lawsuit tied to the closure of E3 Chophouse, a steakhouse they co-owned alongside former Major League Baseball player Adam LaRoche. The action was brought by the property’s landlord, which alleges the restaurant’s ownership group failed to meet lease obligations before the business ceased operations earlier this year.

According to court filings, the restaurant missed rent payments in the months leading up to its closure. The landlord claims those missed payments, along with future obligations outlined in the lease agreement, have resulted in significant financial damages.

The dispute follows the restaurant’s February announcement that it would temporarily suspend operations while evaluating the future of the location. At the time, management described the move as a pause intended to explore new opportunities and potential changes to the concept.

Legal proceedings reportedly continued through the spring as questions surrounding the property’s status remained unresolved. The restaurant ultimately vacated the premises, but the landlord now seeks compensation that includes unpaid rent, interest, and additional damages connected to the lease agreement.

Representatives for the ownership group have stated that efforts are underway to resolve the matter and have indicated that the partners were not previously aware of the amended filing that added their names to the lawsuit.

The development marks an unexpected chapter for a restaurant that opened with significant fanfare and celebrity backing. While both Bryan and Aldean remain among country music’s most successful touring and recording artists, the future of the E3 Chophouse brand remains uncertain as the legal process moves forward.
