Louis Vuitton is hitting the holidays hard, unveiling multiple collections for your spending pleasure.

Ski Collection

First, the Ski Capsule. As Hypebae reports, unveiling a sophisticated and high-performance collection, the technical pieces include graphic coats and salopettes crafted with ultra-lightweight fabrics that are ideal for hitting the mountains looking chic, yet warm. Taking the House’s Art of Travel to new heights (literally and figuratively), recycled nylon jackets are adorned with quilted topstitching as a nod to the brand’s signature Malletage quilting, inspired by the same material that once embellished the interior of LV trunks.

A ski collection wouldn’t be complete without something to wear to the après, and Louis Vuitton is offering knitwear with Norwegian motifs, Monogram stitched flowers and sequin-embroidered denim. Designed to reflect the energy of mountain peaks and the fashion of the chalets, we might cop this one for the colder city breaks too.

And of course, LV does what LV does best: bags. Sporty silhouettes like the Speedy and the High Raise belt bag have been updated in denim-look nylon, the perfect companions for all kinds of adventures. Alongside these, you’ll find the Monogram Miroir canvas, a tribute to the metal trunks from 1891 that were reworked in the 2000s. Inspired by glaciers, the bag offers a futuristic aesthetic in silver and copper offerings. To complete the collection, the now signature ski mask with Monogram lenses adds that fresh sporty touch.

If you’re not much of a skier, fear not, as the collection is also designed for those who prefer to simply soak up the atmosphere, with plenty of offerings far from the discomfort of a ski boot.

The Monogram Sports Collection

Hot on the heels of shooshing down the slopes with its Winter Ski Capsule, Louis Vuitton has relaunched the Monogram Sports collection, depicting snapshots of different sports on an array of small leather goods. The collection originally launched earlier this year, but now it’s back with two new colorways for your pocket’s consideration.

The collection includes wallets, card holders, pocket organizers and passport covers painted with miniature, Werner Bronkhorst-esque scenes of basketball games, alpine skiers and tennis serves against Louis Vuitton’s monogram. The original four colorways were “Ski White,” “Pool Blue,” “Tennis Clay” and “Golf Green,” with “Basketball Blue” and “Skateboard Pink” joining the fold for the new season.

Louis Vuitton has always been a gold mine for playful accessories, with the monogram acting as the perfect canvas for bold designs and bright colors to take center stage. Soccer balls and lobsters turned into handbags, monogrammed binoculars and iridescent carryalls have created some of the most viral runway moments in recent seasons. This fun take on practical lifestyle items might not be as kitschy and camp as the maison’s other designs, but the concept is oh-so Vuitton.

The Monogram Sports collection is available to purchase now on the Louis Vuitton website and select luxury retailers.
