In 2023 there was a significant rise in the number of campaigns featuring furry friends, and it appears that using dogs as a source of inspiration will only continue this year. As Hypebae reports, so far in 2024, both House of Sunny and Louis Vuitton have dropped collections that extoll the virtues of our canine companions.
Pharrell Williams‘ new Spring/Summer 2025 men’s pre-collection for Louis Vuitton is “an ode to the canine-keeping community… a collection grounded in the cosmopolitan culture of dogs and their walkers — exploring style archetypes from Paris to New York City imbued with the Maison’s global spirit.”
Looking at the wardrobe attached to this symbiotic relationship, the collection campaign aims to outfit its wearer through dog-lover activities like daily walks and days spent at the park. Featuring new iterations of the House’s classic Keepall Bags and Outdoor Backpacks, the collection also includes monogrammed leather dog bowls, pooch bags, dog leads and wearable wallets.
Alongside classic dog accessories, the collection includes plush ready-to-wear pieces like the Quilted Denim Jacket, Hooded Shearling Blouson and Cotton-Silk Blend Trench Coat — perfect for park life. You can pre-order the new collection at the LV website.
And House of Sunny‘s newest capsule collection, which is entirely inspired by “the unconditional love and loyalty of humans’ best friends,” shows that our universal obsession with our animal pals is still going strong.
The new capsule, titled “For the Love of Dogs” offers a range of cozy knitwear, made up of the brand’s best-selling styles in new designs. “This collection holds a special place in our hearts as a vegan brand, with a want to spark an innocence and pure emotion in the same way as our beloved pet dogs,” says Sunny Williams, creative director at House of Sunny.
Featuring three new designs of the classic tripper cardigan, the collection also includes the “Puppy” crewneck knit, heritage print skirt and a range of new gift cards, each featuring a dog-inspired design. £5 of each sale will be donated to the brand’s chosen charity, Battersea Dog & Cat Rescue. You can view and purchase the new collection on the House of Sunny website.
