The Grammys aren’t too far away with the countdown nearing just one month, so we thought we’d take a look at a previous Grammy winner who is also celebrating an anniversary of sorts.
Two years ago this week Meghan Trainor released her debut album called “Title.” This album was a huge hit for her containing the jams “All About That Bass,” “Lips Are Movin,” “Like I’m Gonna Lose You” and “Dear Future Husband.” By the end of 2015, the album had sold over one million records in the United States and nearly two million worldwide. Not surprisingly, this album led to Meghan’s first Grammy win, Best New Artist at the 2016 Grammys. At that award show she beat out Tori Kelly, Sam Hunt, Courtney Barnett and James Bay.
When it was all said and done, “Title” would chart at number one in six different countries with his one!
