On Tuesday, May 26th, Lil Yachty gave his fans a brand new music video, “Split / Whole Time”. As he readies his forthcoming album Lil Boat 3, the “Minnesota” star felt the need to release a new project to hold his fans over.
This year, he unleashed his starry track “Oprah’s Bank Account,” featuring Drake and DaBaby. The song peaked at No. 55 on the Hot 100.
The double feature finds Yachty more aggressive than usual, hanging out amongst his crew outside in the streets.”Used to didn’t have a hundred bands/ Now I’m outside with the gang doin’ the money dance,” he raps in front of a fleet of cars. Yachty then dials down the aggression and takes his people to a fun arcade area where they enjoy a bouncy trampoline park and ball pit.
This Friday, May 29th, Yachty hopes to net a trifecta with Lil Boat 3. The rapper previously told fans that they could expect 19-tracks on this project. Yachty has been keeping any other album details under wraps for now.
