Lil Nas X Breaks His Silence After “Terrifying” Arrest and Felony Charges

Grammy-winning artist Lil Nas X (Montero Lamar Hill) has broken his silence following a harrowing and highly publicized incident in Los Angeles. The rapper was arrested after being found walking nearly naked along Ventura Boulevard—wearing only underwear and cowboy boots—an event that police described as erratic and concerning. Responding officers say he assaulted multiple officers before being taken to the hospital for a suspected overdose.

Facing four felony charges—three counts of battery causing injury to police officers and one count of resisting arrest—the 26-year-old artist pleaded not guilty and was released on $75,000 bail. A judge has mandated that he attend Narcotics Anonymous meetings as part of his release conditions.

In a raw and candid Instagram video, Lil Nas X reassured fans with the message, “Your girl is gonna be okay,” afterward describing the ordeal as “terrifying”. His father echoed those sentiments, emphasizing his remorse and urging fans for privacy and support during this time.

With a preliminary hearing scheduled for September 15, the rapper now navigates both legal pressures and widespread public attention, as supporters and critics alike await the next turn in this unexpected chapter of his life.
