The Music Midtown lineup has been released and it has received plenty of good and bad responses. We love it because of the diverse group of artists and bands involved, but many are upset over the lack of Friday entertainment. Music Midtown will be taking place Sept. 17 and 18, starting at noon, but will not include Friday the 16th.
As to who will be playing, there are many of start performers ready to go for this one. Our personal favorite might be Leon Bridges, but there are others like James Bay, Kesha, Big Boi, Beck, Band of Horses, Alabama Shakes, The Lumineers, and DJ Mustard that will be in attendance. Do you see what we mean? This lineup is great!
Leon has himself a busy summer as he recently announced that he will be performing at the Wawa Welcome America Festival, which runs from June 27 to July 4.
Other big names headed to Atlanta, Georgia for Music Midtown include Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats, The Lumineers, Twenty One Pilots, and The Killers among many others. Tickets can be bought for $125 for this two-day event.
