According to ratedrnb.com, the Los Angeles based singer Lendryx recently shared his newest single, “Regret.” The track was produced by Dionso and Osei Da Producer, and includes additional production form Amorphous. Lendryx said that the production, particularly the drum pattern, for “:Regret” was inspired by super producer Timbaland.
On the track, Lendryx’s voice is serene on the slow jam, as he plots to get the last laugh from those who abandoned him before his music flourished. The drums and dragged out strings help to punctuate his stubbornness to forgive friends as they try to crawl back into his life.
When speaking of the single he told Rated R&B that, “I wrote out of frustration with people in my life who will soon regret how they did me wrong as my career continues to rise.” “Regret” is Lendryx’s first new solo track since the release of his EP Loyalty in May. The nine track project included “Infinite” and “Never Get Tired,” among his top five most popular tracks on Spotify. Lendryx also lent his voice to Randy Emillio’s single. “Take a Bite,” from his EP Songs from Apt 1610.
