Legendary Songwriters Emmylou Harris and Brad Paisley to Lead 2025 Nashville Hall of Fame Class

In a momentous celebration of musical storytelling, the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame has unveiled its illustrious Class of 2025. Leading the honorees are Americana legend Emmylou Harris and country superstar Brad Paisley, both celebrated for their songwriting genius and enduring impact.

The induction ceremony is slated for October 6—coinciding with the Hall’s 55th Anniversary Gala at Nashville’s Music City Center.

Joining Harris and Paisley are contemporary songsmiths Steve Bogard and Tony Martin, as well as songwriter–artist Jim Lauderdale. Veteran wordsmith Don Cook rounds out the diverse lineup.

Brad Paisley, a three-time Grammy winner known for penning hits like “He Didn’t Have to Be,” “Alcohol,” and “Remind Me,” continues to shape country music with both creative flair and chart success.

Meanwhile, Harris—an Americana icon with 13 Grammys and Country Music Hall of Fame honors—carries a revered legacy through timeless tracks such as “Boulder to Birmingham” and “Heartbreak Hill”.
Rich Hallworth, chair of the organization’s board, expressed pride in honoring the “outstanding songwriters” joining the pantheon this year.
