Leah Remini and Jennifer Lopez are reminding everyone that friendship can be the ultimate constant — even when life takes a painful turn.
In a recent candid interview, Remini, 54, opened up about how she and longtime friend Lopez have stayed emotionally close, especially during the tough moments. “Right after the divorce, we’d text each other loving messages of support,” Remini said. “Friendships ebb and flow. That doesn’t mean the love is lost.”
Remini, who finalized her divorce from Angelo Pagán in October 2024 after 21 years of marriage, shared insight into the emotional shift that led to the split. “You become friends, but there’s more to marriage than that,” she explained. “When you’re not getting what you need — and neither is the other person — it’s time to be honest.”
Lopez, meanwhile, is navigating her own heartache, having filed for divorce from Ben Affleck in August 2024. Despite the setback, sources close to the star say she remains focused on work and growth.
