Lauren Jauregui Defends Little Mix’s Choice to Go Nude in ‘Strip’ Video

Lauren Jauregui is speaking out on behalf of Little Mix’s choice to strip down in their new music video, “Strip”.

The songstress voiced her thoughts on Twitter Sunday, November 18th, after a U.K. talk radio host suggested Little Mix is using nudity as a tactic to “sell themselves” in their “Strip” video, which shows the four girls naked but covered in insults written across their bodies.

Jauregui retweeted the journalist and left a message that clearly shows whose side she’s on.

“If your intention is the empowerment of women, how about you don’t add yourself to the list of misogynists who deem what is appropriate enough to be ‘respectable,'” she wrote. “All forms deserve respect. They are no less empowered because of their clothing choices. Don’t be salty they look [hot].” (Jauregui finished her tweet with a fire emoji.)
