:Lana Del Rey has returned with a track to proceed the official release of her upcoming album. On Tuesday, February 14th, Lana Del Rey released “A&W,” the second single off of, Did you know that there’s a tunnel under Ocean Blvd.
“A&W” has Del Rey reflecting on her youth as she steps into adulthood. She takes the time to appreciate and admire her body and the desires that she indulges in. Around the four minute mark, the song’s acoustic guitar swaps out for down tempo trap beats as she sings of a man whose way of living she is captivated by, Jimmy.
Although Del Rey hasn’t yet commented about the song, producer jack Antonoff stated in an Instagram post, “Can’t wait for everyone to hear this album – ‘A&W’ is my favorite we’ve ever done,”
Prior to the March 24th release of Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd., Lana Del Rey is going to be honored with the Visionary Award at Billboard’s Women in Music Event on march 1st. The event will be hosted by Abbot Elementary’s Quinta Brunson.
