Groove-metal heavyweights Lamb of God appear poised to unleash new material this coming October 2, following cryptic clues dropped on a newly launched teaser site.
Fans discovered that the band registered the domain s3ps1s.com. When visitors grant webcam access, a found-footage style video plays, layered with drums and bass, culminating in the ominous text “lamb of god – 10.02.25”. Many suspect “Sepsis” may be the track’s title, marking Lamb of God’s first fresh piece of music since their 2022 album Omens.
This teaser comes after a quieter period: in late 2024, bassist John Campbell had said the band would take a short break before diving into new work. Their recent surprise release of a cover of Black Sabbath’s Children of the Grave hinted at ongoing studio activity. Lamb of God’s tour schedule remains active, including numerous dates through late 2025 according to their official site. Whether October 2 delivers a full single, a video, or a larger announcement remains to be seen — but one thing feels certain: the metal world is ready and watching.
