Lady Gaga Announces New Album Mayhem with Release Date and Stunning Cover Art

Lady Gaga has officially announced that her seventh studio album, titled Mayhem, is set to release on March 7, 2025. The album will feature 14 tracks, including previously released singles “Disease” and “Die With a Smile,” a collaboration with Bruno Mars.

In a press statement, Gaga shared that the project began as an exploration of her apprehension about returning to the pop sound that defined her early career. She likened the creative process to “reassembling a shattered mirror,” aiming to craft something new and beautiful from fragmented pieces.

The album delves into themes of chaos and transformation, celebrating music’s ability to unite, provoke, and heal. Fans can anticipate the debut of the third single from Mayhem, along with its music video, during a commercial break at the 2025 Grammy Awards on February 2.

The cover art for Mayhem features a black-and-white photograph of Gaga with disheveled black hair, her face partially obscured behind shattered glass, captured by photographer Frank LeBon.

This announcement has generated significant excitement among fans, who are eager to experience Gaga’s return to her pop roots with a fresh and transformative approach.
