According to sports.yahoo.com, Kyler Murray will remain with the Arizona Cardinals despite the off-season drama that occurred between the two. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, on Thursday the two sides came to a huge $230.5 million dollar contract extension deal. The contract reportedly guarantees $160 million of the contract with Murray who was selected by the team as the number one overall pick in the 2019 NFL draft. In three seasons so far, Murray has thrown for 70 touchdowns, rushed for 1,786 yards and scored 20 rushing touchdowns, with 34 overall interceptions. Last season the Cardinals won their first seven games, however, Murray ended up injured missing three games ending the season four and six in their last ten games. Arizona lost to the Los Angeles Rams in the wild card round where Murray had two interceptions and only 137 yards in the loss. Murray still has a lot to prove, but clearly the Cardinals believe in him with the signing of this massive new contract.
