In a few weeks, the movie ‘The Party’ will open in neighborhood theaters, starring one of our favorite actresses Kristin Scott Thomas. It’s been a while since we’re seen Kristen on the silver screen, but that doesn’t mean she’s been idle. Kristin grew up in London, getting into acting at an early age. She was told by her teachers that she would never amount to much in the theatrical field, but that didn’t stop her. To make ends meet as a struggling actress, she worked as a department store clerk and as an Au Pair in Paris, waiting for her big break.
We’re glad Kristin didn’t listen to her drama teachers, as she would eventually star in many Hollywood block busters like ‘Four Weddings and a Funeral,’ ‘The Horse Whisperer, and ‘Random Hearts’ opposite Harrison Ford. She’s no stranger to Broadway, starring in ‘The Seagull,’ in New York in 2008, and countless plays in the UK.
Kristin is the divorced mother of three children and resides in France. In 2018 she’ll appear in ‘Tomb Rider,’ ‘Paramour,’ and ‘The Sea Change,’ all in pre-production.
