Kristaps Porzingis is one of the brightest and youngest stars in the NBA, so it hurts to have to tell you that he tore his ACL last night against the Bucks. In the 103-89 loss, Porzingis landed awkwardly after dunking and later the MRI would reveal a torn left ACL.
The injury hurts not only for the future of this young star but also for now as the Knicks were battling for the final spot in the playoffs. On the season he’s averaging 22.7 points per game to go along with 6.6 rebounds and a league-leading 2.4 blocks per game.
This star has many years ahead of him and we’re sure he’s going to come back stronger than ever after battling past this injury.
