Korn, the pioneering nu-metal band, is set to electrify Europe with two surprise shows in 2024, delighting fans with an unexpected lineup. In a thrilling announcement for metal enthusiasts, Korn has confirmed their presence at the Spodek arena in Katowice, Poland, on July 30, alongside the rapidly ascending metalcore sensation, Spiritbox.
This Poland show marks Korn’s first official performance date for 2024. With the band notably absent from most European festival circuits next year, this reveal comes as a significant surprise for their European fanbase. Further excitement brews with the discovery of another confirmed date – Korn is slated to energize the Hills of Rock Festival in Bulgaria on July 25, with the festival’s full lineup yet to be announced.
Tickets for the Spodek arena show are already up for grabs, promising fans an unforgettable experience. The year 2024 also commemorates the 30th anniversary of Korn’s revolutionary debut album. Recalling their 20th-anniversary tour in 2014, where they performed the album in full, frontman Jonathan Davis reminisced in a 2022 Metal Hammer interview about the emotional challenges of performing the intensely personal track “Daddy,” which delves into themes of child abuse.
This upcoming tour not only celebrates Korn’s enduring legacy but also offers an exhilarating blend of seasoned prowess and emerging talent, with Spiritbox’s inclusion adding a fresh dynamic to the shows.
