KISS Rocks into the Future: $300 Million Deal with Pophouse Entertainment Transforms Legacy

KISS, the iconic rock band known for their explosive performances and unforgettable anthems, has embarked on a groundbreaking venture, selling their complete music catalog, along with their name, logo, image, and likeness, to Pophouse Entertainment for an astounding $300 million. This monumental deal not only encompasses their publishing and master recordings but also paves the way for an innovative KISS avatar show in the United States, set to debut in 2027.

After electrifying stages worldwide for five decades, Gene Simmons declared, “KISS the touring band is over,” signaling the end of an era but the beginning of an ambitious new journey with Pophouse Entertainment. Inspired by the success of ABBA’s live avatar show, KISS envisions bringing their legacy to life through cutting-edge technology, promising fans an experience “unlike anything anyone has ever seen.”

The Swedish company, already renowned for its work with ABBA, aims to immortalize KISS through digital avatars, allowing the band to continue thrilling audiences without physically touring. According to Pophouse CEO Per Sundin, the goal is to not only preserve KISS’s legendary status but also introduce their music to new generations in a spectacular fashion.

As artists like Bruce Springsteen and Justin Bieber explore similar deals, selling music rights for substantial sums, KISS’s venture into the digital realm with Pophouse Entertainment marks a bold step forward, ensuring their timeless rock spirit endures in the modern era.
