Kirk Franklin’s Three Nominations at the BBMAs

On May 22 we’ll see many stars in Las Vegas win hardware and celebrate at an after party, which we all wish we could attend. One of these artists who is more than deserving of winning an award is Kirk Franklin. He has received nice recognition by being nominated for three awards, all in the Gospel categories.

For Top Gospel Artist, he’ll be squaring off against Marvin Sapp, Tasha Cobbs, Travis Greene, and Anthony Brown & group therapy.

Many of these same artists are up for the Top Gospel Album and it’s no surprise. Jonathan McReynolds has the nomination instead of Travis Greene for this one.

Kirk Franklin’s “Wanna Be Happy?” is up for Top Gospel Song as well as Erica Campbell f/ Big Shizz’s “I Luh God,” Travis Greene’s “Intentional,” Brian Courtney Wilson’s “Worth Fighting For,” and Anthony Brown & group therAPy’s “Worth.”
