If there’s one thing Kim Kardashian knows how to do, it’s giving the people what they want. And in this case, what people want, is for her to bring back her uber popular 2022 SKIMS Swimwear line. Skims, which has had quite a successful run with its shapewear, viral slip dresses and cozy loungewear.
SKIMS shapewear and super cozy loungewear has been all the rage since Kardashian first launched it with Swedish entrepreneur Jens Grede in 2019. But then, Kim just had to tempt us even further when the brand introduced swimwear in March of last year, with 19 silhouettes available in sizes XXS through 4X and seven colorways that could easily be worn beyond the poolside. As with most SKIMS products, the line quickly sold out, leaving many desolate fans wondering if and when there would be a restock.
Well, the wait is finally over, as SKIMS is reintroducing its swim, with a whole new batch of styles to commemorate the moment and a campaign photographed by Harmony Korine to boot.
Per the press release, the collection is “inspired by an out-of-this-world vacation.” Fan favorites from the inaugural launch are set to return, as 10 new silhouettes join the party. Further expanding its offerings, SKIMS is also releasing cover-ups for the first time, giving a whole new meaning to poolside chic.
The label has always prided itself in providing comfortable styles that can be worn in a versatile fashion. Skims’ latest swim launch is no different. There are 25 pieces total, available in seven colors; they’re meant to be layered, mixed and match as the wearer pleases, made with fabrics that can be worn for out-of-water use, sold in sizes XXS to 4X.
But if last year’s sell out is any indication, you’ll need to act fast. The new SKIMS swim will be available to shop on the brand’s website beginning today, February 21st. What are you waiting for? Get shopping!
