Kim Kardashian is using her platform to condemn what she calls “inhumane” immigration raids sweeping across the U.S., joining a growing list of celebrities speaking out against recent actions by ICE and President Trump’s deployment of military forces.
In a passionate Instagram Story to her 356 million followers, Kardashian emphasized the deep roots immigrants have in her hometown of Los Angeles, urging people not to “turn a blind eye” to the fear gripping families. Her message follows major protests in L.A. and other cities in response to the raids and detainments.
Actress Eva Longoria slammed the lack of due process in a viral TikTok. Rapper Doechii called out Trump during the BET Awards, and musician Finneas described being tear-gassed while protesting. Mark Ruffalo and Pedro Pascal have also spoken out, with Ruffalo calling ICE a “racist force.”
Adding to the tension, TikTok star Khaby Lame was reportedly detained by ICE in Las Vegas and has since left the country voluntarily. His detainment sparked further outrage.
As the protests spread nationwide, California leaders are clashing with Trump’s use of Title 10 powers to justify military intervention. The debate continues, but the cultural spotlight is now firmly fixed on the human cost.
