The American League MVP and home run king Aaron Judge has re-signed with the New York Yankees after a bidding war between New York, San Francisco, and San Diego, however, Judge ultimately decided to remain with the Yankees.
Brooklyn Nets forward, Kevin Durant, was asked about Judge re-signing with the Yankees and said, “I’m a Nationals fan, I don’t really care about Aaron Judge.”
Being World Series champions only a few years ago, Washington has lost Max Scherzer, Anthony Rendon, Trea Turner, Juan Soto, and others in a very short span of time. However, they still have a loyal fan in Kevin Durant. The Yankees are continuing a track record of having one of the largest payrolls in baseball, but they are still a tier below true contention. New York was dominated in the ALCS by the champion Houston Astros after barely making it by the Cleveland Guardians.
