For many years, Kenneth Cole, and Lingua Franca founder, Rachelle Hruska, have used their distinctive, purposeful voices to raise awareness and inspire meaningful social change. Now, Lingua Franca and Kenneth Cole have collaborated to create a luxury capsule collection in support of free speech and press freedom worldwide.
The genderless collection features hand-embroidered sweaters and tees that “extend both brands’ longstanding advocacy, affirming support for the First Amendment, while encouraging individuals to actively use their voices.” The sweaters and tees – in simple black, smoke grey, and cream – sport handwritten-type phrases like “shut the hate up,” “speak up even if your voice shakes,” “free the speech,” and “unmute yourself.”
10% of proceeds from the sale of each item will be donated to the Committee to Protect Journalists—a nonprofit defending the right of journalists to safely report the news without reprisal. Wearing is caring, so thank you for helping us to protect our First Amendment rights.
Shop the Kenneth Cole x Lingua Franca (or Lingua Franca x Kenneth Cole, depending on which site you visit) collection (priced from $95-$380) at kennethcole.com and linguafrancanyc.com.
