Kendrick Lamar will take center stage at the 2025 Apple Music Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show, as announced by Roc Nation, Apple Music, and the NFL. The highly anticipated event will be held on February 9, 2025, at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans and will air on Fox.
This marks Lamar’s second Super Bowl halftime appearance, following his role in Dr. Dre’s star-studded 2022 performance alongside Mary J. Blige, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, and 50 Cent. Lamar, fresh off his musical battle with Drake and his chart-topping hit “Not Like Us,” is ready to remind the world why he’s a defining figure in rap. “Rap music is still the most impactful genre,” Lamar said, adding, “They got the right one.”
Roc Nation’s Jay-Z praised Lamar as a once-in-a-generation artist whose influence extends far beyond music. Lamar’s performance will be creatively directed by pgLang, the company behind his powerful Big Steppers tour.
Lamar joins the ranks of recent halftime show legends, including Usher, Rihanna, and Dr. Dre’s 2022 ensemble. The Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show continues to set records, and Lamar’s performance is poised to deliver another unforgettable moment on the world’s biggest stage.
