There have been a lot of stars that owned a talk show on daytime television; Harry Connick, Jerry Springer, Ricki Lake, and more. Now Kelly Clarkson might be able to add her name to the list, as she and NBC are about to tape a pilot for her very own talk show.
Kelly is hoping the pilot goes well, getting the green light for syndication, as the show is thought to make its debut in 2019. The potential Kelly Clarkson show came up in realistic conversations as the network has been working in what to do with the Harry Connick Jr. talk show called ‘Harry’ that is wrapping up at the end of the summer. It’s been a high-profile year for Kelly, hosting the recent Billboard Music Awards and coming back to The Voice for a new season beginning in September.
