Kellie Pickler’s Husband and Song-Writer Kyle Jacobs has Passed Away Due to Suicide

Kellie pickler’s husband, and singer-songwriter, and musician Kyle Jacobs, passed away in an apparent suicide attempt on Friday, February 17th. Many celebrities such as Paula Abdul took part in turning to social media to express their shock and support.

it was reported that Jacobs died by suicide on Friday, February 17th, Jacobs and Pickler have been married since 2011. Metro Nashville Police reported that Jacobs had an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound, and was found in an upstairs bedroom at the couple’s home in Nashville.

The police report reads, “Mr. Jacobs’ wife, Kellie Pickler, reported that she awoke a short time earlier, did not see her husband, and began looking for him, After she and her personal assistant were unable to open the door to the upstairs bedroom/office, the assistant telephoned 911.”

Paula Abdul turned to Twitter to share her empathy and support for Pickler, and even added a message regarding mental health awareness.

Meanwhile, Jacobs was a Nashville songwriter and producer that wrote songs including Garth Brooks’ “More Than a Memory” and Eli Young Band’s “Dust.”

While Pickler had released her most recent single, “If It Wasn’t for a Woman,” in 2017.Pickler was a Season 5 American idol finalist, and put out her last full length album, The Woman I Am, back in 2013.
