We’ve been sharing classic fun facts, so how about one more day?

How’s this for an eerie coincidence. Momma Cass and Keith Moon died in the same apartment years apart. Another rocker also owned the same apartment. His name was Harry Nilsson who also died in that same apartment in 1994. Harry died at the age of 52, while Momma and Keith both died at the age of 32.

These four songs are about marijuana: “Got to Get You In My Life,” “Puff the Magic Dragon,” and The Beatles’ songs “Day Tripper” and “Strawberry Fields Forever” are all written about marijuana.

Berry Gordy and Marvin Gaye were once promising amateur boxers until they turned their efforts to music. Did you now that James Brown and Jackie Wilson also thought they would make a living in the ring before making money with a microphone?

Angelina Jolie’s uncle, Chip Taylor, wrote the song “Wild Thing” by the Troggs, while “Short People” Randy Newman wrote the Three Dog Night song “Momma Told Me Not to Come.” Hoyt Axton wrote their song “Joy to the World.”
